FAQ
Yes, it has the same management and ownership and is guided by the same philosophy, vision and mission of providing quality education. Unlike most pre schools, all our branches are self-managed and we do not follow the franchisee model.
All things being equal, we will certainly give priority to students from our own pre schools. Since the teaching methodologies are synchronized, it is a seamless transition for students of Early Years moving to our IB Schools. Our Admissions Teams would facilitate the transfer.
Being a responsible educational institution, we are extremely conscious of the need to have systems, security and safety in place for every child. There are multiple ways we ensure this – a Family Exeat Card, 24-hour Security Staff, CCTV across the premises, firefighting and emergency safety equipment in place, First Aid training for all faculty and administrative staff, self-owned school transport and bus drivers hired by our Human Resources Department. We have a tie up with Max Hospitals to meet any kind of emergencies.
We greatly emphasize the need for hygiene, safety and cleanliness. We provide lead free washable beds, non-toxic plastic trays and child friendly furniture amongst other things.
It is reasonable to initially expect a child’s anxiety given that he/she is separated from his parents for the first time at school. We try to minimize the anxiety by keeping the initial school hours shorter for the child. Moreover, we allow the parent to be with the child for some days and also provide guidelines to the parents to help the child settle well in the new environment. We also conduct an Orientation Program to make the transition smooth for the parents and the child.

The first qualification required for our faculty is their innate love for children and positive learning attitude. Most of our faculty is trained for Early childhood learning and the Schools additionally provide ongoing ‘In Service’ training. Our teachers are encouraged to continue with upgrading their academic and teaching qualifications as they grow with the organization and empowered to introduce contemporary teaching skills in their class rooms.
Our teaching methodologies are a combination of the best practices of Montessori, Play Way, Reggio Emilia and the International Baccalaureate PYP. We believe that every child is an enquirer and learning must be student led. Our approach is individualized and takes into account the active intelligences of every child in the class. It is delivered through a 360 degree approach to a subject and young learners may approach it through different active intelligences and at different levels of learning and understanding.
We serve healthy, multi cuisine, vegetarian, and child friendly food. The monthly Menu is circulated, in advance, to all parents. A variety of food and tastes are included in the menu to allow the child to experiment with new foods. Children are encouraged to eat different cuisines and develop good eating habits, from a very early age. Our Menu Planning Committee includes faculty, volunteer parents and a representative from the Healthcare team. Meals are cooked on site with freshly procured ingredients, on a daily basis
Our experience has been that no child will remain hungry. After the initial resistance, most children will try out and eat new foods. They also eat better when they see their peers eating. Teachers will ensure your child eats some of the food, every day, and will inform you if he/she has not eaten adequately in his school hours. Our attempt is to provide Home like cooked meals with a decent variety each day.
Parents are encouraged to connect with the school as often as they feel the need to. Our belief is that education is a three way process and parent, child and school are equal contributors to the overall development of every child. We are open to suggestions and encourage parent participation in all school activities.
With very young children and new joiners, we communicate with parents, every day. As they grow older and settle down, weekly communication is sent out, that covers all that happened through the week. Parents may reach out to us whenever they feel the need. The School office is accessible from 8am to 6pm on week days. Group communication is sent out by email in the form of newsletters whereas individual communication is written down manually in the student diary. We also have a mobile application to bring parents closer to the happenings in the school.
Yes, we will admit children who are either not toilet trained or in the early stages of toilet training. You will need to send disposable Diapers and an extra change of clothing, as required. Our maids will take care of diaper changing with very young children. We will also be happy to assist in toilet training, but parents must let the school know the stage of toilet training a child is in, at the time of admitting the child and share his/her progress in this area with his/her homeroom teacher.
Our Support Staff is hired by us, through an out sourced agency that we have been associated with for over a decade. They are adequately verified and all details are with the school and the Local Police station. They are constantly trained by us and are dedicated to our Schools.
We ask parents to share a few basic words of their native tongue with the teachers and once the trust is built in the teacher, the child begins responding to the instructions and expresses his/her needs too.
